This weekend bag fits any trip. You can fold the whole bag into its own side pocket and bring it as a back up bag. Use it during day trips, or as an extra bag since you always return with more than you started with. You can carry it like a duffel bag, or wear it as a backpack to have your hands free.
This product is based on Wheatfield under Thunderclouds, 1890 by Vincent van Gogh.
In 'Wheatfield under thunderclouds' Van Gogh composed three horizontal planes: the stormy blue sky, a broad horizon and the green field. They are painted on an unusual canvas size of two squares. Droog traced the work with coloured markers and manipulated it digitally. These prints and sizes, added with the transparency Van Gogh used for paper, plus a label to sign your belongings like an artist are translated into modern products for the traveller.

Founded in 2011 by Renny Ramakers, Studio Droog is an Amsterdam based studio that develops the Droog brand through a range of furniture, accessories and lighting products. The studio uses a carefully selected team of in-house designers, dedicated to designing quality products that change your experience of daily life.
The studio is committed to delivering useful products with a strong identity. We believe that utility does not have to come at the expense of fantasy. Every piece in the studio’s collection begins with a radical re-think of a particular item and the way that it can be used. Each product is unique and tells a story of its own, but all share a strong emphasis on both function and fiction.
